What You Need to Get Started with Pillo as an Employer

Welcome to Pillo! We're excited to help you find great talent across the Caribbean and Africa. Before you start posting jobs, here’s everything you’ll need to set up your employer account and hit the ground running.

1. A Registered Company or Business Name

To create an employer account, you'll need to provide your company name. This name will be publicly visible on your job listings, so make sure it matches your legal company name or DBA. 

Optional but recommended: Add your company logo for a more professional look.

2. A Business Email Address

Use an official company email (e.g., hello@yourcompany.com) instead of a personal one. This helps with faster verification and improves candidate trust.

3. Company Details for Verification

To verify your employer account, you may be asked to upload:

• Business registration certificate

• Website or social media links

• Company address or tax ID (depending on your region)

💡 For safety and fraud prevention, companies must be verified before they can post jobs on Pillo.

Verification helps protect job seekers from fraudulent postings and ensures only legitimate businesses are hiring on our platform.

Verified companies are more trusted by job seekers and receive better visibility on the platform.

4. Payment Method 

If you're selecting a paid plan or pay-per-post option, make sure you have a valid debit/credit card or access to your company’s preferred payment method.

5. A Clear Job Title and Description (if you're ready to post)

If you’re jumping right into your first job post, prepare:

• A clear job title

• A well-written job description

• Requirements or qualifications

• Salary range (optional, but encouraged)

• Application deadline or expiration date

6. Team Members (Optional)

You can invite other team members to help manage your account. Decide who will handle posting jobs, reviewing candidates, or managing billing.

Once You're Ready

Head to the Create an Account page and follow the guided setup steps. You can start building your company profile and even create your first job post right away.

⚠️ Please note: You won’t be able to publish or make your job live until your company has been successfully verified. This helps us maintain a secure and trusted hiring platform.

Most employers complete setup and are ready to go live in under 10 minutes once verified!
